'Miralem Pjanic could give Barca a boost': Former Barca striker Meho Kodro backs transfer
The ex-attacker has claimed Miralem Pjanic would improve the Blaugrana.
He believes the two parties would be perfect for each other.
Meho Kodro, who played as Barcelona striker during the 1995/1996 campaign, has backed the Blaugrana to complete their anticipated move for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic, claiming that the player could give them a plus.
He told Mundo Deportivo when asked how he sees the midfielder being able to play for Barca: "Seem right. Years ago I was asked about him and the possibility that he could fit in there.
"It seems possible to me, the game of Barça can benefit him and his, can also benefit Barça.
"I know him well and I think he could give Barca a boost."
It was raised that Barca already have Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong but Kodro believes the Juve man offers something different.
"Yes, I know [about Busquets and de Jong], but Pjanic differs from them because he plays very well in short, he associates very well and, under rival pressure'
"He can make a spectacular 40-meter pass. His game is somewhat more vertical."
Pjanic has represented Juve 32 times so far this season, recording three goals and four assists to his name.
