We should warn you to take his report with a grain of salt as the source is somewhat unreliable.
According to Argentinian source Radio Continental, Leo Messi is wanted by MLS' heavyweights LA Galaxy. Their coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto has already approached his father Jorge over the potential move.
LA Galaxy reportedly asked Messi's entourage whether he considered leaving Barcelona.
The source adds that LA Galaxy would like to make another marquee signing following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's recent departure. The former Blaugrana star returned to Milan in winter.
The rumours on Messi's potential exit stem from the infamous conflict with Eric Abidal which happened two weeks ago. However, the Blaugrana icon has mentioned several times he doesn't want to leave Barca and could only return to boyhood side Newells Old Boys to retire there.
Previously, Messi was linked with an audacious move to David Beckham's new MLS club Inter Miami.
As a reminder, Beckham's team Inter Miami will make their MLS debut in March 2020. The ex-footballer reportedly wants to sign stars for his team with Leo Messi, Luis Suarez, Gerard Pique and even Antoine Griezmann all named as top targets.
