Former Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has revealed that he watched Andres Iniesta over current Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.
He told AS: "He [Iniesta] played with such style, you couldn't help but love him when you saw him play.
"He was a perfect professional, very humble ... I loved him.
"Everybody might have been watching Messi but I was watching Iniesta," he concluded.
Messi and Iniesta enjoyed a very successful time together at Camp Nou. They won several trophies, including the historic sextuple of the 2008/2009 campaign and quintuple of the 2014/15 outing.
The Spaniard left Barca for Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe in the summer of 2018 after spending 17 years in the Catalan capital.
Leo, meanwhile, continues going strong for the Blaugrana. He's bagged 24 goals and 16 assists across all competitions so far this season.
