Three players rejected: details of Barca's reported failed bid for Lautaro Martinez revealed
Inter rejected Barca's initial offer for their striker.
The Catalans included Semedo, Firpo and Rakitic as the makeweights but the Nerazzurri aren't interested in this trio.
Instead, Inter would demand more money and Arturo Vidal.
Italian journalist Nico Schira reveals that Inter have rejected Barcelona's initial offer for Lautaro Martinez. He adds that the Catalans included three players as part of the deal, Nelson Semedo, Junior Firpo and Ivan Rakitic.
There is no information on how much money Barca offered for the Argentine striker.
Schira continues, claiming that Inter aren't interested in this trio but would still listen for other cash-plus-players offers. The Nerazzurri have particularly inquired about Arturo Vidal.
As for the transfer fees, Inter reportedly demand more money for Lautaro Martinez. The Italians would accept a fractional payment, though.
As a reminder, Lautaro has a €111m release clause. However, the Catalans are planning to lower the striker's price.
By the way, Sergio Zarate, brother of Lautaro Martinez's agent Rolando Zarate has revealed in an interview with Fox Sports South America that there's a big chance that the Inter striker will wear Blaugrana colours next season.
He said on Sunday: "Lautaro is playing at Inter now, but trust me, he will certainly go to Spain next. There’s a very good chance he will join Barcelona. He’s a great player with no limits to his capabilities."
The 22-year-old forward has bagged 16 goals and 4 assists for the Nerazzurri across all competitions.
