Man United fan slams Ronaldo fanboys with their 'lame and irrelevant' argument in GOAT debate
When comparing the two players, some mention CR7 playing in 3 top leagues as a proof why the Portuguese is better. However, Tribuna.com's Man Uts fan Chima Mpi says his argument shouldn't count at all.
Tribuna.com's Manchester United fan Chima Mpi has dismantled the all too often 'But CR7 played in three clubs' argument in the Leo Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate.
Chima Mpi: "Lame and irrelevant criteria of judging a player by the number of teams he has played. If a player is doing well in a great club like Barca, why does he need to move to another club?
"Do you want him at Watford before you can ascertain his greatness? From the same club (Barca) he has been named The Best FIFA Men's Player and you think it is a necessary criterion? Come on, be real.
"How many clubs can and are willing to buy Messi at his standard? Other measures should be used for judgement if at all there is a need for comparison.
"I am sure they have been applied appropriately to determine The Best FIFA Men's Player this last year and the years before."
The debate has been going on for a long time now which is really surprising. Messi's numbers are far better than Ronaldo's if you consider that fact that the 35-year-old had a two-year advantage.
