Klopp, Liverpool players and staff members send brilliant message to all health care workers around the world
They deserve every single word of praise.
As the coronavirus continues to spread all across the world, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool men's and women's players and staff members have sent an emphatic message to those who fight not only for themselves but also for all of us - health care workers.
"Hello!" the boss said. "Myself, the staff and all the players of LFC would like to take this opportunity to deliver a message to say thank you to all the incredible people who work in the health services, all the health workers, if you want, out there.
"It's unbelievable what you are doing, and on behalf of all of us from LFC, I would like to say thank you. Or, how we would say in Germany, vielen dank."
Other members of the Liverpool family have also expressed their gratitude.
Meanwhile, the current Premier League season will remain suspended until April 30 the earliest due to the COVID-19 outbreak. That's the decision made at the video conference held by the league on Thursday.
Nevertheless, UEFA have issued a resolution which aims to complete all domestic and European club competitions by June 30, the end of the current sporting season, if possible.
Liverpool, who are just 6 points away from a long-awaited Premier League title, will most likely have a chance to claim what should be rightfully theirs.
