N'Golo Kante: Chelsea are not out to get revenge upon Man United

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante insists that his team are not out to get Man United after they lost both of their previous encounters this season.

The more important thing for both teams is the Premier League table, as Chelsea are maintaining their grip on the fourth place.

"Man United were a bit behind but now they have closed the gap so it's a big opportunity either for us to keep them behind or for them to close the gap more," Kante said as quoted by ESPN.

"It's an important game for both teams. We all know that Man United at home is a very difficult game, especially after what happened in the first game but we don't look at this.

"We just look forward because we want to keep the gap and so that's why we need to win, not to get revenge."

Man United battered Chelsea 4-0 in the first game of the season. They also were the better side in a Carabao Cup tie away from home, although Chelsea admittedly played several fringe players.

The Blues have an edge over their top-four rivals, though: they are two points clear of fifth-placed Sheffield United (who have played a game more) and 6 points ahead of Man United, with Tottenham, Wolves and Everton all nearby.
