Real Madrid starlet Kubo claims Barca right to jeer him
Real Madrid starlet Takefusa Kubo claimed that Barcelona fans are right to jeer him during the Real Mallorca versus Barcelona clash in the La Liga at the Camp Nou.
The midfielder spent some of his time with the La Masia but he eventually signed for Real Madrid a move that did not go down well with Barcelona fans.
"It's the fans' decision [to whistle me]," Kubo told Movistar.
"I took my decision and they have the right to whistle me, I think I deserve it, even though some fans were applauding and giving me support.
"Is it a shame? No, they have to see me as an opponent, not as an 18-year-old boy who plays football quite well."
The Japanese played a full match in the 5-2 defeat and showed what he is capable of doing with the ball.
"Luckily I played 90 minutes and I did everything I could, but it wasn't enough to get a result," Kubo said.
